people who say this kind of stuff unironically don't understand that the current weather conditions across the country is a shining example of the biggest reason why California's homeless population is so much higher per capita than other states'. it's because if you were on the streets literally almost anywhere else in the country right now, you would freeze to death. homeless people make the effort to come here from wherever they are because they don't want to freeze to death. and red states let it happen so that they can be like "see? look at California's homeless problem. clearly, LiBeRaL PoLiCiEs don't work!" when in reality they should be chipping in and paying for federal funding to help California address it, because it's a problem that originates from all over the country, not just California.

It has state income tax so thats automatically a turn off from me and if I actually cared about the weather, I would live in Hawaii.
