does. At least for me, I've completely lost track of all the characters outside of the main group. And every episode so far has done a "remember me? From last season? That one character that had 10 to 15 minutes of screen time and is now an important player?" type thing and it's pulling me the fuck out. Doesn't help that when I started s2 I didn't get a recap or anything. Not sure if there was one, but Netflix hasn't given me recaps for any shows since like s3 of Stranger Things.

Yep yesterday or today it came out. Other than the shit I complained about and the MC doing some typical anime "woe is me I can't do this!" shit for half an episode a piece it's been pretty good

I just go to YouTube and watch one of the dozens of recap channels. They have videos dedicated to summarizing all of the important parts of a season in like 5-10 minutes.
