This show does the characters really well. I love their portrayals of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and especially Amy. The voice acting is pretty good as are their mannerisms seem faithful to the games. Love seeing Knuckles using his climbing and gliding abilities, Tails carrying Sonic, and the retro 16-bit flashbacks that allude to the games. And although he hadn't had much screentime yet, Shadow has also been great. "They're Air Shoes."

I love that the show is set in the games' official continuity, and the multiverse plot allows for some fresh new takes on the characters, including a badass Tails, Android Amy, and Pirate Knuckles.

The only downside so far is how short the first season is. I look forward to Seasons 2 and 3 (24 episodes have been confirmed)

I just watched it today actually and yeah I was impressed it was quite entertaining. I worried it would flopped with how little they showed off in some of their first teasers.

I thought that it was ok
The animation is stellar, but other than that I prefer Boom

Sonic Generations as well. That game is pretty epic.

How does it compare to Arcane and Cyberpunk?

I hate the flashbacks to fill in the gaps left by the beginning of the first episode.

Other than that, it's ok.

Also I miss Sonic Boom Knuckles.

Not liking the frequent flashbacks, and I can't remember anything important about the jungle arc, it just felt like filler. And I wish we got to see more of the main cast more often, not just their shatterverse selves.

I forgot this was coming out. I'll have to watch it once the holidays calm down a bit.

Haven't seen Cyberpunk, only Arcane. It's definitely not as serious as Arcane, though they both have that "gotta save the world in a sci-fi future" vibe, along with the flashbacks.

I like the flashbacks. They tell the story like a puzzle, with each flashback fitting into the theme of the episode. Reminds me of Arrow that way. I honestly prefer this Knuckles over Sonic Boom Knuckles. I wasn't really a fan of the heavy comedy in Boom. I like more of an adventure aspect.

The flashbacks are also thr only way we could keep seeing the original side characters and not just their dopplegangers.

Yeah, the jungle are didn't do anything for me. The sci-fi arc seems to be the dominant arc. I also think the pirate arc has potential with how it ended. I'm sure we'll be seeing Pirate Knuckles again.

Also, the creators gave hints that other crossovers aren't out of the question in the next season with the multiverse gimmick (including with other Sonic shows or even other Sega properties). That could be amazing if done right.

enjoyed it and really wasn't expecting to. just flicked it on out of sheer boredom and some interest from little clips i saw on YT.
first time i've really enjoyed anything sonic in a while. usually sonic stuff is just cringe to me nowadays

Seems like Knuckles voice is a little off but otherwise the show is pretty good.

I enjoy that they change his accent with each multiverse incarnation. Like his regular voice is very Knuckles-like, his sci-fi future voice has a Brooklyn accent, his pirate voice is obviously piratey, etc.

Then I looked it up and he actually gets entirely different voice actors in each universe!

I wanted to watch it last night after watching Sonic 2 for the first time since seeing it theaters but I'm going to hold off and wait until I can watch it with friends later this week.

The implication of her dark past makes Rusty even more interesting. Like they literally took Rose and forced robotic implants on her, which included removing her free will to reprogram her into a robot slave. That's dark.

I imagine Season 2 will go into more detail as to how exactly it happened, as we havent seen her exact origin story yet like the others.

i hope they do go a bit darker. this has mild satAM vibes and satAM was dope so i'm down for that.

No idea, but her meeting an organic Rose definitely awakened something in her that will likely play out next season.
