up to 4 pages in my Word doc notes so far (ik the game says to use pen and paper, but my handwriting is ass lol) and I'm only up to stage 10 (as measured by the image changes) out of what appears to be a total of 12 going by the game's file directory... no clue what keywords I'm still missing but I don't really want to have to resort to cheating by looking at the prompt files directly >_> anyone having better luck?

(also, as a tip for anyone just starting it, here's something neat that's easy to miss: check the RECORD and RESTORE pages of the menu at the start and then each time you reach a new image!)

Not sure. I've seen ten different images, though I did miss recording the opening one's messages. I'm also rather stuck, though I did just get a new image typing out Rokkenjima incident. Gonna try some more Umineko-only things...

afaik so far the only valid topics that aren't provided in some way by the prompts have been stubs for people/things from Umineko that don't exist in Empire's verse like the one you mentioned (unless you count more meta ones like whoami), so yeah inputting based off outside knowledge should prob be smth you wait to do until you're out of other leads for the moment.
and from discussion I've seen elsewhere I think the image progression is based on how many unique entries you've found in total rather than being triggered by specific entries? though I'm not familiar enough with Ren'Py innards to be able to find the exact amounts for that in the code

I tested all the words that triggered a change in a new window, and it remained on the first image so two notes: keywords are not locked behind different chains or upon being discovered int ext first, and it is based on number of inputs.

My current struggle is trying to figure out proper input to learn about the picture of the brain found in the abandoned car.
