Also to answer the question about the Fat Buddha/Happy Buddha/ Chinese Buddha that you see in Chinese restaurants. That is a figure of semi historical value to the Chinese, not necessarily of value to any other culture. That is not the actual Buddha, the creator of Buddhism, but rather simply..."a buddha". Anybody can become "a buddha", and enlightened person, but there's only one The Buddha and that's not the one that you see in Chinese restaurants/culture. Nobody knows what the actual Buddha looked like but the ones that you see depicted in Chinese culture and restaurants is of value to that culture and is depicting a person that possibly existed that supposedly attained enlightenment.
