the first one was good, but yes, youtubers are involved with voice work and cameos and so on

Its easy to piece together.

also they ruined miriam by changing her hair to white for some reason

Its pretty amazing how they apparently released the wrong version of the game with it's 30fps gameplay but everything else like the UI and special affects is moving properly like they should in 60fps.

.....they then proceed to release this exact same jank version of the game for every other region outside the asian release 15 days later.

PC users got the option to use a beta version of the patch that has the game running like it should (it got review bombed on steam before this patch came out since this 30fps thing affected all versions of the game). Those of us with all the other versions (had a code to dl the PS4 and PS5 version myself) are now waiting around for whenever this patch is supposed to happen to play the game how it should have been from the start.

Switch users have a strong chance of being screwed on this one since that particular version was initially left out of their twitter post saying "whoops. Yeah, a patch is on the way to fix this game". The 4 player offline thing still isn't in the game yet.

All in all, the release of this game has been a mess compared to the first one, and its still a bit weird that this game was rushed out to release in japan first despite being a north american made game.

I prefer mutant turtles tbh. Not to mention SoR4 had a diverse cast while this game just doesnt.

Isn't this an arc system works/way forward game, both companies known for quality?

Ill be honest it was a little weird buying, what is I assume teenagers, bondage bras as power ups.

Still waiting for the first one to go on sale. It was on sale once on xbox and i missed it. 30 bucks kinda steep for a beat em up.

I don't understand these games. So they're based off the Kunio games, which are Japanese. But American developers took the license and made their own games from it?

Honestly this. Like all other, imo better, brawlers were literally cheaper and went on good sales. This one is really expensive for a beat em up and just doesnt look as good and rarely goes on sale and the sale usually sucks.

They did this with River City Underground and thats games fantastic.

Its no different from konami making ninja turtles and a x-men arcade in the early 90s, or capcom with their various disney games way back when.

I am pretty sure the recent streets of rage 4 was made by french devs/same guys that did that wonder boy and the dragon's trap port and that game is pretty great.
