I remember going to KC as a kid with my white mom (me being latino) and people were giving me the death stare at k mart like something was wrong.

What are your measures for racism per state?

Idk i just seen a look of hate in their eyes iv never been exposed to before. In Minnesota iv been called names but nobody ever gave me the look of death.

I had a friend who lived in Missouri for awhile, and said that the people there were racist, discriminatory in other ways, and too dedicated to the Bible.

Coming from Cincinnati, a very diverse community where everyone generally gets along (even if someone drops a slur every now and then) every now and then we visit the south on vacation and I have to say it's kind of a scary place. And I'm fully white, they just creep me out, getting brochures for plantation "tourist attractions", showing a black woman on the front of the page weaving a basket.

Not to mention the constant barrage of "you're going to hell" signs (you don't say)

I like the weather and the beaches but thanks I'd rather be in a room with half black and white people tbh, that way even if people are racist they know how to keep it in their pants

*sighs* I really wish that the racists would go back in the closet.

It's in the south, so of course it is. All states have their share of bigots and non- bigots, but the southern part of the states seem to have a disproportionate amount that are loud and proud about it. :(

Yeah. Outside of Oklahoma I think Ohio is about the worst Ive seen though.
