makes sense if you think about it, ain't no modern MMO with four-person adventuring guilds, and they straight up hinted at more guildfolks with the promo material back when Tempus launched initially.

Guessin' they had the full lineup ready to go but staggered it 'cos launching eight people at once seems like it'd get hella saturated.

I think they're doing alright but they aren't doing -that- alright.

I continue to have no idea how the numbers game works in regards to this sorta thing, though, I go look at the fleshtubers I used to watch and they're literally like 1/5th the size of any given holo but still living comfortably.

Honestly, it's more about active viewers and viewer participation. Sub numbers are a popularity metric but not what pays the bills ultimately(until sponsorship and whatnot come in to play, but that's less an issue since they're already corporate).

HolostarsEN are already doing well above average in that regard.

That's from research I did several years ago when I wanted to get in to streaming but decided it was way too stressful ultimately lol

iirc if you have more than 50 viewers on average you're already in the top 1%. so basically even the smallest holos are fairly massive streamers

Yeah, I had them playing on my second monitor while I did some work. I liked Josuiji Shinri the most, but mainly because he's old. Either way, I don't put much stock in debuts since they tend to act differently from their debuts over time.

Uruka's back from a lengthy absence, and is engaging in experiencing American foods for the first time--like spam, hot mac n cheese, and vienna sausages.

Also, she's ignoring her moldy rice cooker that she left presumably for a month minimum while she was gone, and only discovered the state it was in when she was going to make rice for the spam.

I saw that was coming up but I went to sleep before the stream started. I woke up and she's still streaming even now. It would be good to have on in the background while I'm working but I already have many very long VODs I could put on in my watch later list that I've never gotten around to listening to/watching.

Her 3D debut is great! I was watching the Tempus HQ boys' stream which cut into the first 20 minutes or so of this. Good thing I watched that first since they nuked the stream (I think because Axel showed some tabs or something, perhaps a very precautionary move and the VOD could come back if he made small edits). It's funny how quickly he privated it, because he set up a redirect but it didn't redirect and instead just showed the video as private.
