Man those were the days. At least once a month me and my brother would show up on Friday's and get a free pizza from the Book It program and then spent so many quarters on either the Simpsons or TMNT arcade machine right after.

It's weird. Eating in was like 9/10 but Pizza Hut take out has always been low tier crap

The atmosphere there was epic, no other restaurant is quite like that

Nope, this is wrong.

Up until this year (when I switched to Papa John's because PH's tanking quality), they were more or less my exclusive place to get pizza. Their quality really HAS declined over the years; less cheese (especially on their "cheese" sticks), overcooked pizzas, less sauce, etc..

Ya the hut here has a problem under cooking pan pizzas...shits definitely not the same.

In the Midwest they still have some sit-down pizza huts. I went into one about 2-3 years ago and the pan pizza was exactly as I remembered it.

I came home and tried our local pizza hut takeout after-words and it was absolute garbage.

The only thing that's still good at Pizza Hut is the wings. Good lord their pizza is awful now. Last time they barely even put any sauce on the pizza. It was like biting into cardboard.

I remember it always being dark as shit in there, with just those hanging lights over every table. They'd reflect perfectly off that red semi-transparent cup filled to the brim with delicious Coca Cola. We'd play the arcades while we waited for our pizza. Good times.

2022? You couldn't pay me to eat a pizza from one of their carry-out establishments. The only chain that's worse is Little Caesar's.
