Obi wan kicked anakins ass when he went to the dark side. Anakin got rebuilt as a cyborg, obi wan chilled, lost his connection to the force. Obi wan kicked anakins ass again. At this point Im convinced if old man obi wan actually tried in a new hope, he'd beat thr chosen jobber again

Obi Wan as character but Anakin as a fighter. Dude was straight up brutal and relentless with his attacks. If he could've gotten his arrogance in check, he would've won his first duel with Obi Wan.

When I was watching the Obi Wan Kenobi show, I first misinterpreted the flashback sequences as Obi Wan imagining what it would have been like if 'none of this had happened', the Republic was still standing and he and Anakin were still friends. This lasted for like, a few seconds really, before I realized that these were flashbacks and that they had badly disguised the actors as younger versions of themselves, but it was the only few seconds of my life where I felt any sort of deep emotion towards anything related to the prequels. Although it's unlikely they would have conceived of it as such, I think they should have done that instead, because it's a far more potent concept than some old flashbacks with bad makeup jobs.
