Deserve life in prison. Minimum. They are literally the worst humanity has to offer.

Dont know why they do that. When I used to work at my family business we are always running out of pens, even when we buy the cheapest most garbage ones possible.

I already said why.

I have a very close relationship with my pens. I sound like a bit of a snob, but I only use Sharpie .8mm thickness felt tip pens. They lose strength after about a month depending on how much I use them, but my god are they good for taking notes or even just doing simple sketches. Expensive though, at $4 CAD for 2 of them, and I can go through a lot of them if I'm not careful.

They however, never leave my side. I don't let anyone else use them. That said, If someone were to use them, I would make sure I get them back immediately even at the risk of making the other person uncomfortable. Even if I were using cheap pens.

That was just my little side rant on pens. Box of cheap pens for like 3 bucks at any office store, store them in a secure area, always keep 5-6 on you at all times. Yeah, it sucks, but if your boss is decent about it and not a moron, it should be standard.

It's been a few hours and was an otherwise good day, and I can now replace Pinky and proper color set is restored.

Still mad and I demand retribution.

What do people use the server's pen for? Is it needed for settling the bill or something (I don't think I've ever needed a pen in the UK) or do people just ask to borrow a pen for something unrelated to the meal?

I always steal their penis and I have not once regretted it

not sure if it's common outside of the states, but over here we still seem to think that a scribble that may or may not vaguely resemble the card holder's name is a good way to authenticate credit transactions. Server's typically carry extra pens on them for people to sign and possibly maybe write in a tip, since it's all handled at the table.

that would cover it. I buy Paper-Mate Inkjoy pens cause i like the way the stem runs the length of the cap instead of going under it, they don't get pulled out of my apron as easily.

A random garbage pen is a random garbage pen. It takes a special kind of scumbag to walk off with a good pen. Like if someone has a space pen or a brass bolt action or a Montblanc...yeah, you're a real jerk.

Its like losing a lighter at a party. If someone wanders off with your Bic or a random clear crack lighter, its whatever. But walking away with someone's Zippo like Putin taking a superbowl ring, that's worth starting a fight over.

I got a good one... I went to a friends Christmas party, went to leave, someone took my shoes. It's not like my shoes could be mistaken. There's a reason I just wear plain black shoes these days. Those ones were white I believe.
