But it's a grey area that I can give him the notch because of how much I respect him staying in character and how not serious I take life. Id just be the guy who smiles and goes "Oop, you got me. I was being lazy". It's so easy to just admit you have lazy moments. Way easier than explaining why you're acting like a 10 year old on the internet when confronted. I dunno. I love him as a character. And if it's who he really is, I love it more. You don't gotta fight in a war, you're arguing about taking a cart back. Is this really a big deal? It was just a pain when Id need to walk like 200+ feet away to get one cart. Or walking slowly in one long horizontal line with three of your friends so nobody can pass without going onto the street. Nobody polices that stuff because they aren't illegal actions (though double parking might technically be, but I've sure as shit never seen anyone get a ticket for it). Which is why cart narc thrives in that gray area. You won't get in trouble for not being a decent human being, but you should be a decent human being. If it were me, I'd become the sidewalk narc. It's about the pride people display when they get called out on not participating in respectful ways to society and leave stuff for the next person.
