Only the Nords could be kept out of a tomb based on a puzzle with around nine possible combinations.

Tbf some of them if you get it wrong they shoot poisonous darts at you.

But also tbf the collective brains of Skyrim working together couldn't figure out that you needed to stick the claws in the holes.

There's a book that talks about the puzzles being to keep the dragur in, not people out.

I remember the first time playing and doing the first puzzle. I thought since it was the very first dungeon it will be a simple one and later ones would be harder, but they kept doing the same thing.

Not as dumb as the claw keys. the combination is on the key. It's just a regular lock with extra steps.

Thats vanilla Skyrim in a nutshell. You see practically everything in the first hour or two and then everything is repeated for the rest of the game.

I dont think that game would be nearly as popular if mods didnt save it

It would still be popular. I've never modded the game and I loved it.

That's like writing the pin number on your bank card.

Well what he said is common in a lot of games. Especially puzzles. If the game design isn't designed around puzzles they usually do end up being samesy throughout the game.

But alot of games in general that have a lot of content tend to reuse the same shit over and over. As long as the gameplay surrounding it is fun it's not a big deal
