And now somebody here is reporting on people not going to extremes. The idea that someone could be conservative and not for Trump is only surprising if you've been in a left leaning echo chamber the last 6 years. There will always be independent stranglers outside the hivemind people love to focus on.

Edit: Tbf, I don't know how this subreddit goes. So, maybe it is a big change in this specific space lol

Don't forget anytime something controversial happened where the cons would clearly be at fault in some way or look like, evil when you paid any attention someone would make an alt and go "wow guys I can't believe so many people are hating you its so friendly here" as if anyone would really believe it.

There's no reason to pretend r/conservative is full of reasonable people. Even now they still live on just a whole other world compared to anything that's actually happening.

If you feel the need to go to the conservative politics subreddit, you aren't the most well put together person. Though to be fair you can also say that about the far lefty subreddits, or the vegan subreddit, or whatever.
