Okay, let me rephrase -

maybe not "disgusting" but moreso in a tier of "I would rather eat anything, including Arby's, when it comes to fast food over BK"

I cannot think of 1 burger or item on their menu that I would rather not go get at McDonalds, Wendy's, Jack in the Box, or elsewhere.

I dunno, my family never went there growing up - and I never do either. Just not good.

I remember they had commercials for that Chicken Parmagean sandwich like 10 years ago, with the marinara sauce on it...

The only thing Wendy's does right - in my book - is their Spicy Chicken Sammich is legit.

And Frosty's are okay.

I saw a commercial for Peppermint Frosty the other day - that sounds intruiging.

But I certainly don't go there for the other shit they advertise in commercials (chili, their $.99 nuggets, etc). Fuck that.

there is no fast food burger quite like the baconator

like yeah its still a fast food burger, but no fast food burger tastes that fucking good. tastes genuinely fresh and like real food

even the recent mcdonalds quarter patties are fresh not frozen and they do not carry a similar fresh flavor

The death of the spicy chking is such an injustice

The spicy ch'king was one of the best fast food sandwiches.

This new one is just depression on a bun.

I sure as hell can.... I'm going to get flak for this but Wendys beef burgers suck. I can barely stomach the Baconator, but everything else is just gross. I pretty much only eat the spicy chicken meals or frosties there. Sometimes their chili, but that's basic chili at any fast food place. My go to was the double stacker, but they took it off the menu where I live.

I wasn't too pleased with the Ch'King so if this isn't as good, or at best, just as good, I'm not overly interested.

I'm not commenting on BK, but I do want to give you internet points for taking a proper picture with the cross-section. And that bun looks on point ngl.

I wish I lived where you guys lived, because the Chi'king was a fucking half breaded monstrosity all 3 times I tried to get one. I didnt make it more than a bite or two into each of them.

Being handcrafted is not a positive when you have morons doing the "crafting".

The one and only chicken sandwich I got from popeyes was literally folded in half then breaded. It was the worst fast food chicken sandwich I've ever had. Never went back. Did not understand the hype because it was so bad.

DUDE, that's been the last two sandwiches I've gotten from Popeyes, and I wasn't sure if I was justified in thinking it was really gross. I used to be able to eat three of those in a day with a smile, but our local Popeyes fell off HARD when Covid lockdowns started up.

Btw the Wendy's in my hometown blows the fucking roof off of any fast food place on earth. The entire staff is differently abled, and they dont give a FUCK, they KILL IT there. Everything is perfect and fresh every time. They have a little sign on the counter that states theres not a single heatlamp in the store.

Yeah it was pretty disappointing, but I made mine a triple so the juicy patties made up for the mozzarella. The peppermint frosty that I got with it was amazing, though! Blew way past my calorie budget that day.

How'd it compare to the Strawberry Frosty, if you had it. Strawberry became my new favorite over the summer. Baked potato and frosty is lifeblood for my Irish ass.

Better than strawberry. I thought the strawberry was decent, but had something of a powdery aftertaste. Maybe my batch wasn't mixed properly or something (I only had it once). My rankings are as follows:
Peppermint > Chocolate > Vanilla > Strawberry (without the aftertaste, it would've been higher than the Vanilla)

This year was actually the first year I ever tried Wendy's and I kinda got obsessed (went like 5-6 times). I normally don't eat fast food. I couldn't resist the temptation to get the frosty key tag, but I'm hoping it doesn't cause me to go to Wendy's too often next year.
