That was hilarious. You had insiders saying developers had 4k devkits ready to go. You had Bloomberg saying Nintendo was manufacturing new hardware.

Then it was just a new screen.

I actually love the Switch OLED so it could have been worse.

My brother is still confused. Whenever I tell him about rumors of the Switch 2, he says the OLED just came out. And then I have to keep explaining to him that OLED wasn't new hardware

The next generation system may have DLSS thanks to NVIDIA which could theoretically upscale games to 4k using AI.

But still a lot of unknowns for sure.

IIRC hackers datamined the past few (Swithc) system software releases and there were multiple strings referencing DLSS
