I don't think I would've risked it twice more if I didn't like the 1st one

Right Mr_hulk88 it is like this for the Star Trek: The Next Generation Movies:

First one was Generations
Second one was First Contact
Third one was Insurrection
Forth one was Nemesis.

As a massive Trekker watching the first one was guaranteed.

The second one First Contact is not just the best ST movie but one of the best Sci-Fi movies ever made.

Now I had read and heard about Insurrection and didn't fancy it one bit. But after years of nagging by my mom who liked it I relented and watched it when it was on TV and I should have given it up part way as it was that shit.

I went and saw Nemesis with my parents at the cinema. Because I went with them I had to endure it to the end but believe me if I had been there myself I would have walked out. I haven't seen it since and it came out in 2002.

There was plans for a 5th movie to wrap up the TNG era of Star Trek but after the utter inmeptitudes of Insurrection and Nemesis a thoroughly pissed off Paramount told them to go stick it out the nearest airlock.

Star Wars isn't dead. New material has come out since Rise of Skywalker. More movies are planned. I think at least 1 cartoon has continued post RoS. And there has always been novels and comics coming out. But not everyone reads those

Btw the modern comics and novels, starting from 2014 are all canon. The Darth Vader comic is pretty cool

Star Wars was not killed. If it can survive the prequels it can survive the sequels

After careful deliberation, I decided on House of 1,000 Corpses. It was arguably my 2nd-most miserable cinematic experience after Epic Movie (and I do mean 'arguably,' since unlike Epic Movie, I was actually forced to sit through the whole viewing of Corpses), yet some fellow humans genuinely seem to like it. Horror movies are pretty low priority on my watch-list, so there's a good chance that, were Corpses erased from my viewing memory, I could live the rest of my life under the blissful delusion that there's this kinda-cool horror movie out there that some people seem to like but I'll almost certainly never get around to watching myself.

Yeah. After that movie, I lost any desire to see any form of Star Wars storytelling. Movies, tv shows, books, comics... it's now dead to me.

And I saw the original Star Wars in the theaters the first time around.

Fuck really? I very much enjoyed it. It was playing on tv really late one night and I had the sound almost off cus my parents were asleep, but I couldn't stop watching.

Its one of my favorite david lynch's films still, even if i missed the entire beginning and watched with no sound lol

I can't remember the name of the movie, but I saw it last year. It was about a group of friends who hold something like the, the best way I could describe it is if Jackass ran the Olympics. It was just a god-awful movie.

Also, the movie Polar. It drew comparisons to John Wick, but it was just a hella boring movie.

Scott Pilgrim, Ready Player One, Space Jam 2, the common theme is that they just threw a bunch of references in and thought it would make a good movie. But Scott Pilgrim sucks the most as it was overhyped cringe. I could throw Pixels in there too but Sandler's made worse.

Actually I remembered a movie that greatly disturbed me

Unfriended: Dark Web

A guy finds a lost laptop and takes it home and it is owned by someone who filmed a bunch of murders

He shows the video to his friends on Skype. It was one of those gimmick internet chat movies. Whole film is seen through Skype calls I think. Well, the owner of the laptop tracks them down and he turns out to just be a minor player in an underground snuff film organization. By the end of the movie, all the people who watched the videos end up killed off. The main character never showed the videos to his girlfriend, but she is on her way to meet him near the end of the movie, and the bad guy tells him she will he killed. I forget what is the official theatrical ending. But I remember there was multiple endings when it came to dvd

I saw the official ending I think cause I watched it on Netflix or something. But I read about all the endings. And in one, they kill the main character and as he dies he is told his girlfriend is about to he killed. In another , they let him live long enough to hear her being killed. The whole movie is disturbing and unfair to the victims. And just fucked up. It made me mad

This sequel was sooo much better than the first film. The first film was insanely mediocre and I'm convinced people only pretended to like it because if its framing.

As someone who's afraid of doxxing and digital vigilantism, and see both as major threats - the film is real and terrifying in a way no other film has been to me.
