Nothing about it is against the US version of freedom of speech. The US doesn't compel private actors to publish the speech of others.

Forbidding users from mentioning competitors while using the service may fall under anti-monopoly laws, though.

Maybe? But the US has gone really hard pro-corporation the last few decades it's unlikely that will go anywhere even if someone tried it.

Twitter is based in the US but has international users. I read somewhere that the EU could reclassify it and change the laws regarding it if Twitter forbids mentioning of competitors.

Yes I've heard that there is still some violation of an anti-trust law that still remains that he violated, but I really don't know anything about that.

Can't really say something like that unless I'm an expert in US law, and I haven't exactly followed the history of how it's happened in the past, or how strong they have been vs how strong they are now

As a general tip, the whole flippant "oh look at all you silly plebs caring about things while I go about my fabulous life" thing works a lot better when it isn't the first post in 26 hours. It still doesn't work very well, but at least then you can pretend that you didn't actively seek out the topic for the sake of proclaiming that you don't care about it, which absolutely everyone in the world can see through.
