Its a visual novel though, so your supposed to get to know the cast well. Also, are you starting on 2? The game makes the assumption that you have played every previous game and builds upon it constantly. While you can enjoy the story somewhat as the most bare-bones version of the plot is self-contained, there are large parts of the story that require knowledge of the previous one + the entire point of the story is a continuation of the first. --- "A shouted order to do something of dubious morality with an unpredictable outcome?
