The main thing is to get one that's big enough: you don't want to regret that later. It does look good. My main gripe is that I adjust to how cool it looks in a week or so and the net effect isn't so much that I have continual excitement about it, it's that my other TVs start to feel cruddy. Given that it doesn't look SO good that it changes how I experience movies the cost for adding it (and then replacing my other TVs) just isn't worth it for me. But to each their own. We got an 85" Samsung The Frame for the conference room at work. When it's turned off, it becomes a piece of artwork. It's fooled a bunch of people who thought it was a painting and didn't realize it was a TV. The other neat thing about this TV is that all the connections are on a separate box and you only have to run one semi-translucent wire to the screen.
