QLED means nothing, just a dumb branding term. 4k OLED is the best, they just arent cheap

The main thing is to get one that's big enough: you don't want to regret that later.

Unless you're a videophile who knows the differences (sounds like you aren't) I wouldn't worry (or certainly pay) a lot for the rest of it, though.

OLED is the best, IMO. 100% worth it if youre serious about your movie-watching.

It does look good.

My main gripe is that I adjust to how cool it looks in a week or so and the net effect isn't so much that I have continual excitement about it, it's that my other TVs start to feel cruddy. Given that it doesn't look SO good that it changes how I experience movies the cost for adding it (and then replacing my other TVs) just isn't worth it for me.

But to each their own.

I just upgraded to this for size purposes (had a 55" before) and am happy with my decision: it looks good to me.

Yes, 85 is the goal. I currently have a 65 so thats a major upgrade.

We got an 85" Samsung The Frame for the conference room at work. When it's turned off, it becomes a piece of artwork. It's fooled a bunch of people who thought it was a painting and didn't realize it was a TV. It makes an excellent computer display as well.

This pic was before the electricians came out and ran the wires through the wall. The other neat thing about this TV is that all the connections are on a separate box and you only have to run one semi-translucent wire to the screen. So even if you can't run the wires through the wall, that one wire is barely noticeable.
