Well...

Not really. PC will always be the best way to play anything.

But besides that, the only PS5 games worth it are GoW Ragnarok (also on PS4), Ratchet and Clank, and the Demon's Souls remake.

Literally everything else is on other platforms. If you missed a lot of PS4 games, then sure, it's better than buying a PS4 or a PS4 Pro.

If you're looking for "next gen" but don't wanna break the bank, the Xbox Series S is fine and easily findable now. Pair that with Game Pass and you'll have plenty to play for a long time.

There are a handful of current gen games that are pretty decent but nothing fantastic.

Sadly, the main appeal is playing last gen games with a much better experience. I got a ps5 at launch and it's saved me hours of sitting in load screens. It's significantly faster in that and overall runs/looks slightly better. It's a super-pro.

If you're planning to get into this gen eventually, I feel like the only reason not to is if you're expecting them to release a PS5 Pro of some kind. There are a few exclusives with more presumably on the way and the load times really are a game changer.
