I guess I should watch season 2 and get it over with

Do people actually watch the movie and then season 2 which I know the start of adapts the movie in a show format, or do they skip one or the other depending on what they watch first

Also is there less Zenitsu

I did, but the TV version of the movie seemed worse so I wouldn't blame anyone for skipping it

Although it did start with a filler episode that took place before the start of the movie that gave some extra screentime for the flame hashira if you're into that

Which is better between the TV version and the movie varies - I preferred the pacing of the movie but the TV version does have some technical improvements.

Only the first part of Season 2 is adapting the movie, with the first episode being a new story tying in (that I really recommend, it adds a lot of context and character development, I wouldnt call it filler exactly) and episodes 2-7 adapting the film. I would say watch episode 1, then the movie, then episodes 8 and on. You are good either way, though theres no reason to watch both the movie and TV versions in one go. I watched both but had seen the movie months before so I was fine to watch the same material again.
