Board 8 > Been watching Jojo part 6 *MAJOR SPOILERS*

But anyway, I love Stone Ocean and especially the ending half of it. Pucci is so fuckin good, Dio and him are lovers and I won't hear anything else, and Weather and his backstory is fuckin wilddddd. Some people really hate the ending with the universe reset, I know lefty has said he despises it, but I think it's really neat. It gave the most gravity (heh) to a villain situation Jojo has ever gotten, which had been building up each part.

Like the first few parts the main villains were beings that needed to be stopped for the world's sake....before really doing anything that ACTUALLY affected the larger world. Part 4 actually played into this with Kira specifically just wanting to stay in his town and live out his life which I love, but Part 5 started branching into actual real world scale implications with Diovolo's shenanigans causing multiple towns and Rome to get fucked up with shit. So now Part 6 we actually get the entire world being affected, and while Pucci didn't achieve his 100% complete goal he got DAMN close and stuff has now been irreversibly changed. Just a cool progression to me, even if I'll miss the original timeline.

Even worse, in the manga Araki teases Giorno being in Florida during the Dio's sons arc in some mid chapter notes.

I was waiting the entire time after that for him to pop up lol, I wanted to see what a 26 year old Giorno would be like

Pucci resetted the universe, and because Jolyne and co were dead, they did not return.

Its possible the Joestars still existed since Pucci is saying "Fate" still has history written in stone, but the similarities stop at Jotaro and them.

so Pucci then died before he achieved Heaven.....even though he still has it RIGHT NOW...and his SOMEHOW made HIM be erased from History instead...for some reason . Maybe dying with that kind of power just DOES that. but I still don't understand why him dying before he achieved heaven even mattered if he was using it against Emporio.

So a universe without PUCCI at least, was the new universe at the end. It could not default back into the first one because Pucci needs to exist for that one to exist

I can see people not liking how it ended, people don't like change, and also the ending is pretty grim. There are people out there reading this since the 80s and everything they have been through with the characters just got erased. Its not to say their efforts don't matter, it all led to THIS, but just having everything you know not exist anymore can be irksome

but yea like I said Pucci was really good and he was pretty hands on, even early on

I just wanted him to be more established considering how supposedly important he was to Dio, the grudge with him and the Joestars was super one sided to begin with

also yea he was totally gay with Dio, theres no way in hell they weren't

I still feel like Dio was using him , but undoubtedly he felt something back for Pucci at one point

Am I confused? My understanding of events was:

1. Mom's son dies during childbirth.
2. Mom steals Pucci, who was actually a Bluemarine.
3. Mom later has Perla.
4. Therefore Perla is unrelated to Pucci and Weather.

Which of those is wrong?

she steals WEATHER REPORT and puts the dead baby in his place

Parents believe Weather report, Pucci's twin brother, died

Parents that had Weather Report and Pucci then go on to have Perla

Perla is THEIR little sister

yea, the world definitely knows of super powers now

as Bane explained earlier, the villain powers WERE on wide scales but it really never left their scenarios

but this time its beyond that

the only time it came close are the few blocks that Silver Chariot Requiem effected and made people switch bodies
