Yes this scene happened shortly after I made that post

I did know Part 7 is a reboot

I just assumed Part 6 was the grand finale and Araki just wanted to start over

So Pucci ended Time Acceleration early to finish off Emporio and they never reached the point at Cape Canaveral where Time Acceleration began to complete the ability. Since Pucci died before then the lost souls were able to cross over into this new timeline. It's clear the Joestar bloodline now continues, but they're no longer tied to the blood curse of DIO and are in fact completely different people.

Part 7 is also a completely different timeline from the Irene-verse so it still kinda is a reboot! Parts 8 and presumably 9 are direct sequels to eachother though.

(and yes there are are theories on how the new trilogy could still relate back to the original timeline, but that's all they are for now are theories)

Yes but this is confusing, how could the souls come back if they stopped existing in the new timeline? Yes, Pucci died before Heaven happened, but we already proved the Joestars were not here anymore with Not Jotaro, so how could they loop BACK into it? they were retconned out of existence

I think Dio was probably not really big friends with Pucci
(also I'm pretty positive they've fucked)

There is NO WAY IN HELL Dio wanted to give people "Peace of Mind" Pucci was willing to give everyone

Dio is a complete irredeemable scumbag

Pucci has said several times "I'm not seeking this to gain power"

but...Dio probably was

I wonder what Dio's heaven was going to be like

its just funny Pucci was acting like he was carrying out Dio's will but they may have been on different pages

And now the wait for Part 9 continues. It's been 1 year and 4 months since JoJolion ended and the only update we have had on JoJolands came just last week that it's still coming and a hint and who the new JoJo would be related to.

At this point I'm just assuming they're waiting until the Josuke/Hol Horse spinoff manga finishes up.

It was kind of funny how Diavolo Jr somehow killed Pinocchio off FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD thats something I didn't realize til now

I found it odd that the Private Detective was racist as fuck but had no problem with Pucci himself

I guess it was just the fact that Weather Report was dating a white women, I guess Pucci wasn't

in the Disciplinary Wing, they showed a woman leaving one of the rooms, didn't they? The other ones were the stand users, It just occurred to me they never showed her again. That was weird

I've heard that theory. I guess it makes sense if multiple people think of it.

I liked how the Disciplinary Wing is all suspicious characters who look like they could be Stand users.

So yea lets talk about the Characters

definitely like Jolyne, she was rough around the edges inuniverse but had the blood of a Joestar

She still had her goofy moments but definitely far and inbetween. He was quirky but it was played straight too, like her middle finger scene.

I feel Ermes was underdeveloped. the tough friend was well played but I feel like her story was introduced and finished in the same episode

At least with someone like Polrnareff they let it sit there for a few episodes before he took out Hanged Man

I DO like her, the fact she seems to be a HISPANIC STAND USER definitely helps. I watched the dub (yea yea I know) and they threw in random spanish terms with her, like if she was Dora the Explorer or something. IDK it was cheesy, I liked it

but yea, underdeveloped

I really liked Weather Report, I mean, its ..Nuff said, you know? His powers were cool, they REALLY went crazy with them...TOO crazy, that snail thing was just out of no where. but still, he was awesome, it was a shame he died earlyish. I still don't understand how he died though, Jolyne blamed herself, did she cause his death?

F.F. was kind of all over the place, she seemed like the sweet innocent type but she was super vulgar too. I thought she was gonna be more like the Alien dude in Part 4. I feel they didn't play up everything they could have done with the Plankton angle but I guess they couldn't have a character with a built in gun around for too long, as well as their healer. I did feel bad when she died though

Diavolo Jr, IDK, its easy to forget hes a murderer and his possession of Jolyne was played for laughs but it was kinda awkward alot of times, especially bringing it up at pretty wrong times. I did think it was sweet he "won" at the end though, Jolyne was willing to accept him asking a proposal if they made it out, and in the new universe he gets his wish.
I'm still not really sure what his power does, he can reshape things I guess? But his stand can also go inside of people and act like inner armor or something

Emporio had the potential to be awful but I didn't mind him. I did NOT expect him to be the one to finish Pucci. He used weather report super badassly , I was impressed. I hope he gets a happy ending

Pucci was a great villain, he had a constant presence, his methods of recruiting people for his cause wasn't super repetitive like in Part 4, it just all made sense. As well as his ties with Dio. I just wish he didn't like, how to say, come out of no where? Apparently he was there ALL ALONG in the background of Dio's shenanigans. I feel like we should've heard about him in part 3 or something. It just felt like there wasn't much of a Feud there between him and the joestars

Pucci absorbing the green baby and gaining the birthmark caused Weather to get one too. Same as when all to Joestars got stands when Dio got one

I still think them retroactively inheriting stands like that is dumb. I'm surprised they weren't blonde since Dio attached his head to Jonathan's body in that case

I was waiting the entire time after that for him to pop up lol, I wanted to see what a 26 year old Giorno would be like
