The gameplay is way better compared to the previous games in the series and Tales of Arise.

I just wish the AI got to use more than 5 AP.

Story is meh. Better than 4 and 5 by a million, better than 3 until the twist though the story in this has issues that make me confused about 3

Also this game has by far the worst AI I've ever seen in any game ever. This is the only game I've experienced where your healer will chase after you to heal you even though you have full health and ignore your dead teammates

I'm just glad that Welch has a very small role in this one compared to the others.

Also, I hate the fact that you can't respec your sp. You have farm a million years for sp seeds.

The issue is if I main her and everybody else's murdered then it becomes a problem because I can't easily revive and heal people when the boss is targeting me

Its a great SO game, but they need some balance tweaks for sure. Like Midas and his slow ass casting. Even with fast cast it is very slow.

Its also a game that you really need to learn the systems and craft some tweaked gear to really succeed. That and knowing what skills to use and invest your SP in.

Waifus are top tier though.

I actually have the best weapons and armor for every single person in the game except the ones that require engineering and the final boss of the first post game dungeon still one hit kills everybody with his charge and anyone caught in his dragon aoe get DOT to death.

I liked the game overall, but I actually was not that big of a fan of the AP system and the Skill Trees. It felt like we didn't have many skills for how many skill slots we had for combos. And all skills using AP, instead of MP/SP is not something I'm a fan of.

The saving grace of AP is that it wasn't quite as limiting as the SG system in Tales of Berseria. In that game if you had low SG during a boss, you could barely attack and were just kind of stuck standing around until you had a chance to get a soul orb.
