Does it snow?

It snowed for a day or a few every year when I grew up in Dallas, a bit rarer in Austin (glad I missed the freak year). San Francisco no.

I've been told Edinburgh snows a little but not too much, not Chicago levels. Maybe similar to Dallas? idk yet

I haven't seen snow I think in at least 5 years and I'm loving it

I live in central WA which is mostly desert. Usually if it snows it's not much and it all melts within a day or two. It's been snowing like crazy for the past week though. Haven't really seen this much snow since I was a kid.

It snows regularly during the winter where I live. (Supposed to snow tomorrow.) I love it. Even shoveling the driveway. I refuse to buy a snowblower. If we get 2 inches or two feet of snow, I'm shoveling. I'll spend all day clearing snow around my house while my kids play and pelt me with snowballs and enjoy myself. Everything is so peaceful and serene when it snows.

It snows here regularly. I wouldn't wish for it to stop completely, but I'd certainly cut it down.

Yes, indifferent. 3-4 feet a year on average if I had to geuss.

What I don't like is the month or two of -30 temperatures.

Snow is tolerable if you have it for like a month. Winter lasts at least 5 months in Alberta, so I fucking hate it.

I live in MN. Having seasons is fun: it keeps things interesting. And snow looks nice when it falls. And skiing/snowmobiling are fun. I don't mind winter up through February.

But rush hour in snow is terrible (not that I do that anymore). And there's really nothing good about that month+ in spring when the snow is sloppily melting but nothing's growing.

Yes, it snows frequently in southeast Nebraska, but usually not too much. The one-day record for Omaha is 18 inches, in 1965, and the annual record was 64.5 inches in 1948, but the average is 25.6 inches per year.

Last year and so far this year have had very little snow, but the winter 2018-2019 was one of the worst. There were drifts literally 4 feet deep in places. I had to get up every morning and shovel a path down the 1/4 mile driveway to where our cars were parked, and the wind would fill the path back up by the afternoon so I had to shovel the path out again, and overnight the wind would fill it back in and I'd have to start all over. I started wondering if I'd died and gone to hell because it felt like I was doing this for an eternity.

Then one day it was like someone flipped a switch and all that snow melted in a single day. The driveway and cornfields turned into rivers

Yes, we get a few inches a year, usually no more than two feet for the season and often closer to just the one. I don't like snow (or cold weather) at all but I'd rather deal with snow than ice. Ice is fucking evil.

That was the last year I trick or treated: '91. My buddy was a ghost (full snowsuit/etc underneath a sheet) and I was a zombie (full snowsuit with couple ripped clothes on top).

We got 2-3 feet, depending where you lived. We don't usually get that much, though: if feels like we top out around a foot for our biggest annual snowfall event theseadays. What's most annoying is when we get 4" of snow (enough to have to shovel) every other day for two weeks. That gets old.

We're one of the few places in Canada that doesn't get snow on the regular. We might get a week or two's worth of snow spread out throughout the winter, but it usually melts after a day or two.

We have had snow down near me where the farms and countryside is. Not much yet though as far as I know. It no doubt will reach me soon as we already have frost and I do live on the outskirts of my city. I don't mind snow but it's the ice that follows that I hate. Slipping and sliding all over the place is never fun.
