i've always been a bit interested in whatever dwarf fortress is but never really figured out what it is or how to play it. this might be the time is there a classic mode for graphics though because thats the way i want to experience it --- The batman villians all seem to be one big joke that batman refuses to laugh at - SantaRPG ... Its much easier to figure out how to do things in this version, but I do miss the way the old one would pause the game to give you important messages more often, its pretty easy to ignore/forget about the icons on the side of the screen. I completely missed that one of my guys got fucked up by a giant dragonfly (I assume at a slightly higher elevation than my fort since I never saw him) and since I had yet to make a medical area he just lay there injured until he died of dehydration.
