It's just funny because I skimmed Wednesday like Sabrina before it and they look to be about the same. Both of the girls attend the school, both seem to be accosted by a Bully character, both do the weird and dark thing. Yes and no. Wednesday was always a dark character. Now obviously the new show does take some inspiration from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (and Veronica Mars,) but it's not a ripoff or anything. It's very much in keeping with the character. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's just funny. A little thing I noticed from both is they also feature a former child actress in the main role, and the show is really eager to make them seem "adult" with slapping on a ton of makeup like exaggerated eye liner and heavy lipstick to give a really cringey "she's an adult now" look.
