It's pretty easy if you take like 10% of your military budget and allocate into healthcare, education, and services for the common folk. Healthy people lead to a healthy economy.

We spend more on healthcare than any other country. The ten percent wont do it.

They were still trying the "business men would be better for our economy, please believe us" thing back then too. Except Romney was part of Bain and their thing was buying companies to share their debt with them and absolutely fucking them that way till they went out of business.
