I am the only Android user in my close friend group and occasionally get excluded from chats simply so that others can share video without it being ruinously compressed.

I ain't mad, this is Apple's problem and they can fix it any time they want. The fact that they won't is a big part of the reason why I'm not their customer.

DDG has a PC browser in the works. I used the mobile one and it's extremely good.

The simple solution my siblings and I use is a cross-platform app like WhatsApp. Using WhatsApp, it's easy to see why the rest of the world uses it exclusively while the US as usual is just plain backwards.

Texting should not be this hard or complicated.

In my age range of friends, it's like 60-40 for iPhone or Android, but folks I know under like 21, it's all iPhone.
