Was pretty hyped when I saw there was a trailer for GoG... and then was pretty not-hyped after watching it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3V5KDHRQvk The trailer was just hijinks where I couldn't even figure out who the villain was supposed to be (apparently it's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfVYgWYaHmE As for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, it leaves me with a melancholy feeling since iirc this is supposed to be his last and the franchise might be retired (if Ford has his way). However, the trailer LOOKS great, whereas the Crystal Skull one looked kinda shit and the movie was fairly shit (although I hate it less now, I guess). Then again, I might be interested because this could be a much nicer ending to the franchise than Crystal Skull. --- Everybody's got a price / Everybody's got to pay / Because the Million Drachma Man / Always gets his way. Funny, my reaction was more along the lines of "ehhhh" for the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer and "Oh my God, fuck no, why won't you stop, please stop" for the Indiana Jones trailer. Even in an infinite multiverse, I can't imagine a single universe where that movie is going to turn out to be anything other than car-crash terrible. Count_Drachma posted... I still remember when everyone was excited because the original Phantom Menace trailer made the movie look really cool. To the point where some of my friends and I sat around and watched it together and were really hyped about the movie. And then the movie actually came out. Count_Drachma posted... Then again, I might be interested because this could be a much nicer ending to the franchise than Crystal Skull. We already had the perfect end to the franchise. It was called "Last Crusade".
