I've got an interactive version that I'll post after someone solves it.

I think this is it

White Turn
D4 (pawn) takes C5 (pawn) = CHECK

Black Turn
B7 (knight) takes C5 (pawn)

B4 (pawn) takes C5 (knight) = CHECKMATE

Also, I believe the D4 and B4 pawns can be interchanged on the first & second turns for the same result.

yea you can make your own puzzles.

from the forums:

i still have the nagging suspicion that the pawn cant checkmate in the first puzzle somehow, but i cant see it.

the solution says the pawn cant mate for some reason and it has to be the queen, but i think the puzzle is broken. the king cant recapture the pawn because of the queen. it's a broken puzzle as far as i can tell. i got excited cause i thought it was cool.

Balls. I wanted to make a joke about using the duck to block the queen, but the pawn is also protected by a knight.
