I never played the original Burnout Paradise so this was completely new for me - and I enjoyed it a lot, actually! Each of the various events are very fun to mess around in, though they did get a bit repetitive going up to the Burnout license. Similarly, the showtime and time road rules are nice challenges but there are so many roads that I only did enough for each trophy's requirement. I think my favorite part of the game was when I was just starting and going through yellow gates and billboards for the first time. I don't know if I'll pick it up again to get the rest of the trophies, do the DLC, or go for the Burnout Elite license - I think I'm satisfied with what I've played.

Well apparently that didn't happen, since I kept playing until I got the platinum trophy! I boosted the game with someone outside of Board 8 and finished most of the DLC with that as well, so I'm also down to only three DLC trophies left. Today I finally managed to get the Wildcats Baseball Stadium trophy using the offline method, so I finished the rest of the main list as well. The trophy list in general is very lacking compared to what's actually in the game, since there's no requirement to smash all the yellow gates or billboards, get the Burnout Elite license, or complete all the road routes or anything like that. Instead, for example, you only have to smash through half of the yellow gates in the game. Though I do agree with what I said in the write up - the beginning of the game was the most fun part of the game. I'll need eight people to finish the DLC so that might be a while off.
