Well, supposedly they are going to be there. It's a premiere of the new Yellowstone show, the last premiere had the main cast from the other show attending too. Idgaf about the series tbh. I declined because I've been burning the candle at both ends lately and I've been needing a day where I do absolutely nothing. Planned that to be Saturday, which is the day of the event. Sucks cuz meeting them would be cool but also it isn't even guaranteed that they're going, let alone that I'd meet them.

Yeah I thought of that. Still don't think I could personally take going to this thing right now though. Plus I don't think Ford is the type of dude to hang around and mingle with a bunch of drunk assholes lol

Let this be a lesson to many:

Don't work hard to get to Hollywood. Let Hollywood come to you.

From my experience with events like this you aren't going to get a chance to meet them. They'll say something to a host before and/or after the premiere in the theater in front of everyone but they will fuck off when they're done.

Still worth going if you feel up to it though.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too but the last time (which I declined as well, they're gonna stop inviting me lol) I knew some people that met the cast for one of the shows. Though I really don't think Harrison Ford would stick around. Mirren is a toss up. Seems like she has better shit to do too though.

Ah yeah probably depends on the actors.

For comparison I've been to premieres/special screening events that have had The Rock, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Simon Pegg, Brad Bird (who fell down the stairs in the theater lol) and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and none of them stuck around to talk to anyone.

These were Sydney premieres mostly done for social media PR (my wife basically won all of these through radio contests lol) though so it might also depend on the context of the premiere. Maybe if there's a lot of cast and crew there it would be different too.

This shit started at 12:45 I guess which is way too early for a premiere lmao anyways, some people I know went and both Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren were there. Took pictures of them from quite a ways away. Had no chance to meet them.
