BOTW is close, but I have always loved how TP's gets more and more ominous the deeper you get into the castle, culminating with Ganon's theme almost completely overtaking it.

God, Twilight Princess has some incredible moments. When I first walked in and realized the music was some Link to the Past stuff, I felt truly satisfied.

TP has the best story presentation out of any other Zelda title, and probably still the best final dungeon even though Ganondorf is pathetically easy.

My favorite moment in TP and possibly my favorite moment in all of Zelda is when you hit the reveal that the Sacred Grove and the Temple of Time are the same location. That hit me like a truck and made me giddy. It tied Link to the Past and OOT together in a way I hadn't even imagined before then.

Seriously, the first time I got to that moment and realized what I was looking at totally floored me. Especially since they set up the Grove way earlier in the game and even have some little hints of ruins and such to make the reveal feel even cooler.

God, TP is great.

Seriously, spoilers abound, but this moment lives in my head permanently. It brought things together in such a beautiful and unexpected way that explained so much without anybody giving any exposition at all. It's a masterful moment in the franchise's history.

Skyward Sword also has moments like these. So does BOTW.

False. I was literally playing Twilight Princess HD on mine a couple months ago.

So does BOTW.
I don't remember there being a moment like that in BotW, actually. Maybe an Easter egg, but nothing that made me feel like the world was truly being tied together into a complete circle.

I also haven't played Skyward Sword, admittedly.

SS' Sacred Grove is also the Temple of Time we see in OoT if I remember correctly. And Fi is the spirit of the Master Sword and she goes to sleep inside of it at the end of the game. In BOTW, the one thing that immediately comes to mind is that there is an area that is obviously OoT's Lon Lon Ranch.

And probably THE most important piece of lore in Skyward Sword: ***ending spoilers*** Demise "curses" the future of all Links and Zeldas; Ganondorf is just Demise's hatred reincarnated into a physical form

BOTW has ruined Lon Lon Ranch.

That's more of an Easter egg, to me.

In TP, that moment I described actually bridged the gap between this:

And this:

In a way that was natural and kind of subtle while also being competely 100% conclusive with no ambiguity. That was the moment when everything clicked.

Oh yeah same here but Lon Lon just made me sad to see it in ruins.

BOTW is close,

Nah. The full channel mix of BotW is the GOAT Hyrule Castle.

Due to the way music works in BotW, the only way to hear this music is to be outdoors, in the rain, in combat against non guardian type enemies. This is actually a little harder than it sounds because almost every outdoor enemy is a guardian.
