A boyfriend and partner should be supportive. It's up to them of they want to try something different. You wouldn't want your girlfriend to leave you just because you tried something different with your appearance that has bad end results. Not even saying they would look bad shaved. It's definitely one of the most shallow things. They deserve better than you if you leave them over that. "Let". You aren't the boss of them. --- If you want something done right, do it yourself. It doesn't matter if you are uncomfortable. You can get used to it. It will grow back. She should not have to conform to what you like. Unlike you I also don't expect a partner to unconditionally like everything possible that I could do with my appearance. You have no right whatsoever to call someone childish or imply that you're a 'real man' while expecting a woman to like or automatically approve every way you look equally as if they don't have any agency or preferences of their own. If I were to grow a pink mohawk down to my knees and I had a romantic partner that couldn't handle it they'd have every right to leave me if they so choose.
