  • Self tests regularly
  • Alerts my phone when smoke is detected, and will say the name of the room if you set up standard room names. For a couple of mine, I had to do custom names
  • For a false alarm or known issue, you can silence them from your phone, too.
  • Pathlights to make it easier to see where to go in the dark, and possibly in smoke (assuming the smoke isn't too thick)

Maybe they come 10 in a case and the guy packing your order couldnt be fucked to open it and get your 6 out. But that depends on how they were packed I guess.

That's fair. I'm trying to get as many smart devices for the home as I can. They just make things more convenient.
