have 300+ miles of battery on full charge before needing to recharge? Seems like all 100% electric vehicles only have one of the 3. Tesla can go 300+ miles before needing to recharge but is over $40k and from seeing people with Tesla vehicles, they aren't reliable. Other cars they are under $40k but aren't reliable and or have way less than 300 mile battery capacity before needing to recharge

I'm pretty ignorant of the whole thing but it seems like...risky to me? There's a couple of charging ports here and there. What do you do if you just run out of power and the charging port is being used?

You arent buying an electric car if you have no way to charge it overnight.

its like 30 minutes to charge 20-80% on a supercharger. You could just top off a few % to get you to your destination and charge it when you get there

I got a friend living down south that use to visit 2-3 times a year.
He got an electric car.
He must stop and charge it 2-3 times at charge stations to get here.
A charge takes 30 minutes.
Once he had 3 cars in front of him at the charge station, so he had to wait almost 2 hours before he could continue driving.

I wish there were more plug-in hybrids out there since it provides a great compromise. My plug-in hybrid goes ~50 miles on battery and have an additional ~375 miles on gas. Since the battery is smaller, it doesn't use as many resources to make and is thus more environmentally friendly. Most of the time my trips are within battery range and the few times they're not, the gas tank is there. Sometimes I've gone an entire year without needing to stop by the gas station.

I understand that it's a pain in the ass due to how needing both gas and electric components complicates the system, but it meets a great middle ground that would suit a lot of people. We'll probably reach the point where fully-electric will be a lot better and cheaper within a few years and my next vehicle will definitely be fully-electric, but there's been a significant gap of time where plug-in hybrids would've been perfect for a lot of people.
