Does this mean you're the new CEO of Microsoft or do you have to fight Bill Gates to the death for certification first? --- New York Rangers [2004-2008] https://media.giphy.com/media/WvQHBYW0q4TuxdAg61/giphy.gif https://psnprofiles.com/Jaromiroquai68 ... Copied to Clipboard!

TheMikh posted... at this point you should strongly consider learning and using mysql instead of spreadsheetsYeah most definitely. I do know the value of it, but t's not really on my plate ATM because this is for a school project and we are using STATA, and I'll likely never use a data set of this size again. Instead of learning how to combine data sets in stata, i manually combined them in excel then imported that file. (Actually, i had to create a CSV, and stata took that, because STATA for some reason has a 40mb limit on .xlsx files -- this one is ~250mb as xlsx, ~120mb as .csv). Also my lab partner is impatient and doesn't know much when it comes to data, so I was under pressure to just "get it done" for her. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] see above. It's a one-shot project. If anyone is curious, we are using labour market data to try to identify predictors for unplanned absenteeism. Here is one insight: immigrants miss approximately 2 days fewer per month than citizens. Which speaks to the "hard working immigrant" stereotype. But may also speak to the "doesn't know their rights as a worker" immigrant / shitty abusive bosses. Jagr_68 posted...
