Interaction with authority is just sort something I see as a means to practice and/or enjoy subtle psychological warfare, since for me it tends to be very low stakes, either just because of the circumstances or by my position. For example, when I've dealt with cops, I haven't done anything significant wrong, so it's a game to me. When I've dealt with problematic bosses, I've had enough dirt on them to avoid serious issues and some cases I've played them against each other, which again is a game to me. Any authority that hasn't made or isn't trying to make trouble for me, I generally try to just stay out of the way of. If authority is trying to be patient and reasonable, I'm usually happy to oblige.
