Well, hes had a Will in place for years... but hes bringing it up.

Hes unable to take care of himself at this point. Its gone downhill.

I keep suggesting he should go to a doctor but he refuses. Im pretty sure the cancer has come back and he doesnt want to fight it. I can understand that... but

Well, I have a place to stay as long as I need it...

I dunno. Just rambling.

really stressed... coupled with ptsd and flash backs a lot lately

and I have to take a trip tomorrow to deal with the rest of my stuff at my old house.

juat rambling.

Im more sorry for him. He apologizes for being a burden, but I look at it from the other side; hes the one living it. I just have to try to help and sometimes theres not much I can do.

Is there no way you can convince him to see a doctor in a more peaceful manner or something? Like coax him into going and if it's not something he feels like he can fight, maybe they can at leat make him more comfortable?

I'm sorry tc, make sure to talk with him and let him now how much he means to you either way

I am so sorry to hear that, TC. I'll be coming up to the 10 year anniversary of my dad's passing very soon. It was a (sort of) long illness, so I know exactly where you're coming from.

Please feel free to PM me if you want a sympathetic ear, or even just want to vent or ramble.

Im sorry, its such a difficult thing for parents to get older. My mom is losing her ability to take care of herself and has had some bad falls. Im doing my best trying to take care of her and making sure she gets to all her appointments and everything.

Its so overwhelming though. She fell last week and I keep feeling like it was my fault because I was asleep. Some days I will do my best to take care of her but she will just want to be stubborn. Its rough.

Thanks. Sorry to hear about your dad. My mom died in 2017 ( and she was... 13 years younger than him). He didnt take it very well, understandably.

If I hadnt moved back in he probably would have already died... he was actually asking me yesterday if I planned on moving out and he said he doesnt want me to because hes have no way to get some stuff done. Like food

His other kids all want nothing to do with him from what Ive seen.
