Yeah I held off to see if the dupe glitches were fixed, and the ride legendary dupe was fixed bu the actual item duping wasn't. So I duped a bunch of Miraidon before I updated so that I can dupe some Ability Patches later. >_____>

Got a shiny Cyclizar last night. And it took me all afternoon, but today I got 2 shiny Bramblins and 3 shiny Naclis

Shiny Glimmet, 2 Dunsparce, Paldean Tauros and Meowth

Okay so the weird disk like Paradox Pokemon the Scarlet/Violet book. It's covered in hexagons. The DLC area is most likely going to be Kalos. The third legendary might be a Paradox Zygarde.

I never got to look in the book. Do you happen to have a screenshot handy? I hope youre right though, cuz Kalos had so much potential.

Thanks! And wow yeah, I could see this being a paradox Zygarde for sure. I loved how Sun and Moon continued that story thread but Id love to see more.

Yeah there was clearly supposed to be a Pokemon Z that never got made, and the Zygarde story was just like shoved into Sun/Moon lol

It's probably going to just be Southern Kalos since in XY there's only 2 locations that take place there.

So it turns out that both location and sandwich encounter power effect the mass outbreak spawns. If you're looking for a specific outbreak to hunt, go to a location where that Pokemon spawns normally, eat a level 2 encounter power sandwich for its type, and an outbreak of that Pokemon will be more heavily weighted than other Pokemon. Still might need to do some date skipping to see it spawn, especially if you're near multiple "biomes" like snow and river and town all at the same time. But sandwiches and location will cause you to see outbreaks of Pokemon you would pretty much never see otherwise.

Edit: Like I tried to do a hunt for a Cetoddle yesterday, so I went up in the mountains and started date skipping. While I never saw the Cetoddle outbreak, I saw multiple Ice type outbreaks I had never seen before like Frigibax, Snorunt, Cryogonal, and Bergmite. I think if I go a bit south, like the hills between the mountain and Area Zero and pop an Ice sandwich and date skip, I just might see that Cetoddle outbreak.

So I had to skip the date forward by several months, but I eventually DID get a Cetoddle outbreak, and already got one shiny. Idk if the sandwich really influenced this or not.

So almost 2 hours of picnic resets later. No second shiny Cetoddle. But! Right before I turned the game off to take a break, I got a random shiny male Sneasel, so that's a W in my book.

Too bad the shiny sucks. But I still hunted it anyway.

i didn't even bother trying to get a shiny for it, i'm good with just 6iv

So got two shiny Maschiffs almost back to back. Then I started a Smoliv hunt. Oh boy. In 4 hours I got one shiny Smoliv. :| I estimate that I must have spawned almost 3000 Pokemon. With the shiny charm and improved odds from the outbreak. And in 4 hours saw ONE shiny. That's some pretty bad luck.

I somehow fell asleep while actually playing the Switch. I also somehow paused a video on my phone.

2 shiny Tarountula. 2 shiny Lechonk. I found a shiny Lechonk. About 5 minutes later, random shiny Bonsly. About 5 minutes after that second shiny Lechonk lol

Managed to beat a 6 star with luck. Timer almost ran out.

Just use swords dance or nasty plot twice and blast them with a super effect move from a max ev pokemon.

Or one belly drum

Anyone know how to get Flamigo or Fidough outbreaks? Ive never seen a Flamigo outbreak, the only Fidough outbreak Ive ever see was inside a wall so I literally couldnt hunt it. The sandwich and date skipping trick didnt really work

Yeah Charizard event should be starting pretty soon.

Also I was doing raids all afternoon trying to get some Herba Mystica. I did manage to get a few. But I think the important thing is I got a lot of candies, so that will help me build more Pokemon to be able to cover more raids. Like my shiny Glimmora. Fucking destroys Fairy raids, it's pretty sweet.

My coworker said he'll help with it so maybe tomorrow morning. I gotta train up more pokemon and get the shiny charm.

Just used a Fairy sandwich. Shiny Iron Valiant and 2 shiny Tinkatinks. :D

Shiny Iron Hands and Iron Thorns. Also tried to hunt Varoom. Hunting Varoom sucks, they move too fast, the shiny looks barely any different, when they move it causes the game to freeze. It's absolutely awful. I found a shiny by accident cus the gold doesn't really stand out that much, and under certain lighting they all look gold. I just noticed the tailpipe looked weird and it sparkled when I touched it. Also when I was resetting the spawns I found I random shiny Rolycoly. Did not get a second Varoom.

So next weekend for Christmas there will be special 5-Star Delibird raids that supposedly drop lots of Tera shards.

Weekend after that for the new year there will be 7-Star fighting type Cinderace raids with the Mightiest Mark to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit.
