The price of musical instruments can be so much. While I have been able to find good prices on instruments in the pass from Amazon and e-bay. Many made in China.Over all the price of these things are just so high.

Like take a Bari Sax for example. These things Go from around 4K to 20K dollars. And mouthpieces can get upward to 700 dollars. However with them I have done found some dirt cheap one. And ligatures for those who don't know what this is. It's only job is to hold the reed to the mouthpiece and they can be 300 bucks.

A family member plays something called an English horn over 5 K .

I spoke before about my love a music. But it seems to be barriers into getting into it.

Probably a hold over from when every piece was meticulously handcrafted

True. I just bought a plastic ocarina. It has not arrived but is supposed to be on pitch.

Played an Alto before, it doesn't compare. While use you can learn how to finger it. The air you need, how you blow, the feel, how it moves with you are all very different.

I just bought a $2,000 Strandberg. My friend is looking into a $4,000 PRS. We play Black Metal.

You can get a used student baritone sax for under $500.

Checked E-Bay and found necks that cost more. But I did find something after a while. When I get back to my good playing ways. I will drop a track for the CE. I am thinking someone from Cowboy Bebop .

Agreed, even beginner level instruments are on the expensive side. Though I lean more towards brass than woodwinds or strings.
