I owned a demo of that game on pc

I played it to death, hoping I could one day play the actual game. Good god I had no idea what the hell I was playing back then it's like a fever dream

Ugly graphics and fever dream of a game aside, this is a concept I think would actually have been cool. Fun platforming (if it were actually polished) on the overworld and smrpg esque battles? This is something I could enjoy.

You have the original 5, 4 being playable in Jake, Cassie, Rachel and Marco, with Tobias providing air support in the overworld and/or in battle. Sure there's no Ax who would be tricky to play as due to his unique morphology but I'm sure they could fit him in somehow.

The 4 party members fighting rpg battles against taxxons and yeerk controlled hork bajir, going on different planets and fighting all manner of aliens, with boss battles like visser three or visser one... imo there's definitely potentially for an epic game here

Huh, I had no idea they ever made a game out of animorphs. Guess I shouldn't be surprised, they made licensed games out of everything even remotely popular.

The comics are happening, they're up to book 3 now.

Oh man just 5 try adding an extra 0 to that number lol they made nearly 60 books. The original 54, then you've got megamorphs, then the spinoff chronicles about hork bajirs and visser and even the elimist himself. Not to mention a couple of choose your own adventure books.

I was obsessed with Animorphs

About a decade ago they did do a reprint, if not a reboot. A reprint with ugly covers that I don't think remotely took off since these books were squarely 90s books and just don't have the same magic reading now, even if some of their concepts and overall themes are timeless.

I am definitely not a fan of any reboots however I was casually eyeing that disney percy jackson tv show and if that ends up being good then there might be hope they could do a good series.

Then again they also made that foul artemis fowl movie so...
