I can totally understand it angering you and getting you all emotional even though it was a completely unintentional accident that was already apologized for.

More than 2 weeks seems like you're just sort of reveling in the drama and wanting to make a bigger deal out of it. Right? I'd understand if insurance didn't cover it, but that's not a factor.

The act can be forgiven if you allow the parent of the baby to drop the baby dropper on their head from a height of 5 feet.

Was this a classic situation where the person didn't want to hold a baby but had the baby forced in their arms?

Or did they like just take it out of the crib spike that shit?

It really depends on how they obtained the baby before dropping it.

Fine hypothetically just say it was well intended horsing around. For laughs. Something that everyone at the library would have viewed in a positive light if the basket wasn't made from such cheap material.

Would it be in poor taste to buy an apology gift for Christmas that makes light of the situation? Like a baby helmet or something funny?

I personally wouldn't stay mad long, if you were really apologetic about it. But I probably would be hesitant to let you hold the baby again.

And yes, if the person is holding a grudge against you, then buying a helmet as a joke would make the situation worse. Definitely do not do that

The length of time correlates directly to the severity of the injury suffered. No injury, I honestly ain't even gonna be mad lol.

What if someone kicked your puppy that you love very much? Take the time it would take you to stop giving them nasty looks and divide it by 16, that's the reasonable amount of time to forgive baby dropping.

I can't help but think of Anthony Jeselnik's routine on dropping babies after seeing this topic.

Depends on if it's an isolated incident, or part of a continuing pattern of behavior that the person has been repeatedly told is too much, but that they disregard becuase they insist on being "the funny one"
