Infinite TM use. Removing that bothers the s*** out of me.

Rematching E4 is a solid bet for something to be included in the SV DLC, which is a complete d*** move, but an expected one from them at this point.

Alas, multiple regions has literally only ever happened once, and really only did because of one person (Satoru Iwata), so I don't consider that one a feature.

Not sure about favorite exactly... but damn if im not bothered by the lack of GTS... Didnt get to use it much, but holy hell is it something id gladly have used in my violet playthrough...

Would make it a lot easier to find some pokemon... espicially ones i cant find natively in violet.

Hell id probably have grinded the extra sinistea cups up to trade a Ceruledge for Armarouge if ithat was there.

i loved it for in-game usage. you could do the missingno trick to duplicate items in gen 1, but outside of that there was no way of making more of them (as far as i know).

even the open world in sv is just an illusion due to the leveled areas. you're still basically going to go on just the one path, and there's nothing meaningful or interesting to find if you do wander off.

Inverse battles, even though it was in one location in Y/X & the Ruby/Sapphire remakes. Fire super effective against Water, Fighting moves affecting Ghosts. It was neat

just really annoyed they got rid of the GTS. need the other starters? just breed yours and trade them away for the other ones. need a trade evolution? just put your trade evolution up and request a carbon copy. want a bagon but it's exclusive to the other version? easy, just offer a larvitar and request it. The GTS made it easy to get past all the trading requirements for fulfilling the dex and that's probably why they axed it. Now we're back to having to actually find people for it.

Infinite TMs isn't that big of a deal in this generation since once you find a TM you learn how to craft it.

Also in this generation you gain the power of the Name Rater and Move Reminder without having to go anywhere.

At least it's still in Home....though that's not compatible with gen 9 yet, and it's some "don't you all have phones" stuff (plus it doesn't trigger trade evos). On the bright side at least it's not pay walled under NSO

And unless i missed it SV doesnt even have the link cable item either... easily one of the best things in PLA.

...so yeah i guess i could add that to list.

Also, even with a phone. GTS through home is a lot more clunky than if its just available in-game

You need 3 different programs and 2 seperate devices...
