Not anything connected to my kid. I love him with my whole damn heart.

But now I just nonstop have this fear in the back of my mind that something could happen to him. I send him to school....does he get in a car wreck? Does a shooter waltz in? Does he get kidnapped?

I put him to bed....does he choke on something while I'm not there? It's just constant anxiety eating away at me.

It happens. How old are they? You never stop worrying but it does get easier.

I used to be like that, on a much smaller scale.

I then lost my parents 22 days apart due to Covid. I then thought if I can get out of the other side of that without spiraling out of control, I can probably get through anything.

If you live in fear, that fear will live your life for you.

He's almost 2. Just totally helpless. I feel like I should be with him at all times.
