Where I grew up people thought you were a psycho if you weren't willing to kill what you eat yourself.

Allowing yourself that disassociation between what you are consuming, and the actual processes and consequences of that act is literally a minor act of insanity.

That isn't "food" on your plate, it is a dead animal. Deal with it and realize what happened for it to end up on your plate if you are willing to consume it.

This sure is a take, lol

1) I cant just go buy deer meat from the store
2) If youre suggesting I buy another meat why does it even matter at that point? An animal is dead regardless
3) My way would actually give me enough to last through most of the year which eliminates the need to keep buying meat

nah, hunting is actually necessary population control with deer. Weve pushed their natural predators too far away, but deer still hang around right near people
