Never really thought about the fact that I dont have one, and it would be such a simple thing to buy, juuust in case.

Not in my apartment, but there's one in the hallway, along with a fire hose.

no. There is probably one in the basement somewhere. I didn't even have a smoke/CO detector after my apartment was renovated. I hadn't moved back in yet but I knew that was legally required so I texted my landlord "uhh I dunno if you kept the old smoke alarm or if you were planning to replace it but I didn't see one. I probably shouldn't move back in until that's taken care of" and he was like "oh shit good point" and got and installed a new one. I'm not worried about a fire or anything but better safe than sorry and I wouldn't want him to get in trouble for not having anything necessary in the case of an inspection or property assessment or whatever. I don't know anything about extinguisher laws but there was never one in the unit when I first moved in (property was owned by someone else at that time)

Yes but its best utility would be to break thru a locked door rather than extinguish a fire. Landlords NEVER maintain the extinguishers. Or maintain.....really anything. My windows haven't been cleaned in 5 years lol.

I don't know about urinals. Half the guys are afraid to use them and most who aren't afraid can't hit them
