I remember liking it well enough and thinking it was the best 3D iteration of a brawler at the time, next to Zombie's Revenge on DC.

The sequel was flawed, but I liked it somewhat other than the save system. I think it would have been better if the player could save in between areas instead at the end of levels. I mean the first level is like 40 minutes long.

I fell into the hype with that game and Nightmare Creatures. Both were pretty meh

That game was awesome for its time. I remember one of the big draws was that you could pick up basically anything to use as a weapon. The sequel completely switched genres for no reason, I played it once and it was not good

The sequel was like a Syphon Filter copycat right? I think I only played the demo.

I enjoyed renting the first one.
